I am a serial eBayer. I take great joy in stalking pieces that can be bought 
for a fraction of their retail price, particularly those which have long since 
disappeared from sale elsewhere. This silk blazer is one such piece. It was 
not love at first sight upon its receipt in the post: it was about a full four sizes 
larger than I had been expecting it to be. Like, really big. Colossal, even. 
But since having thrown it over various leg-baring ensembles, this silky 
oversized being has earned its place as the throw-over-anything-short-or-tight-
to-make-it-more-socially-acceptable piece in my wardrobe. Which is a thing, 
by the way. This only confirmed what I have always believed: that 
committing to buy something based on one grainy iPhone picture - and 
apparently not bothering to get measurements - does sometimes pay off. 

In a big way.

Getting back into long sleeves and stripes as the days become
decidedly cooler. Long sleeves and bare legs, true to my usual

A lazy Sunday spent lounging around in a beautiful yet entirely effortless piece 
like this 'Azalea' jumpsuit by casper&pearl is a day well spent in my mind. 
Softly draped, with a subtle plunging neckline and peplum detail, it's everything 
you want when you have little energy to spare thinking about how to dress. I fully 
recommend checking out the entire casper&pearl range for similarly delightful 
pieces, and their blog for that extra does of inspiration in the meantime.

The pants, tank and sandals combo is fast becoming my standard life uniform.
 This printed pair may or may not be number six in my Zimmermann pant 
collection. Scary but true. You would be forgiven for thinking I work there or 
am somehow sponsored by them, but no - they just receive a lot of my hard 
earned money in exchange for perfectly crafted pieces such as these. If one 
brand's silhouette works for you, I say just go with it. Also in absolute love with 
these Rag & Bone Sigrid sandals, i.e. the most comfortable shoes I 
have ever owned. That, and they look damn fine with just about everything. 
Definitely a win/win situation right there.
